Its stunning and peaceful reflection pool, which is set against a backdrop of the Atlas Mountains, creates a serene and picturesque setting for guests to relax and unwind.

Located just 12 km south of Marrakech in the direction of Oarzazate, a sanctuary of calm and serenity is hidden away. A retreat in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by gardens infused with infinite aromas and an architecture that connects nature and minimalism. The design, by architect Ed Tuttle, is a true masterpiece with a nod to Moorish palaces and a commitment to modern, minimalist lines.

In pale pink tones, majestic walls emerge with a dance of keyhole-shaped arches, endless corridors, long decorative pools where the water creates a heavenly musical thread and the swaying white curtains that billow from the gazebos dance to the beat. This is “Peaceful Paradise”, which is what the word Amanjena means and which describes this place perfectly.

As soon as you enter the lobby, two marble fountains open to the sky, surrounded by pink columns, invite you to relax as soon as you arrive at this serene resort. As you check in, you are welcomed with Moroccan tea and delicacies accompanied by traditional music.

As you leave the main building, you enter a garden with a pond in the centre reflecting the Atlas Mountains and surrounding it are the different pavilions.

To the right, an infinity walkway leads to the swimming pool and two restaurants; the Olive Grove and the Nama.

The circular pavilions surrounding the gardens are synonym of privacy. Under a dome is a majestic bed that invites you to rest. To one side, a fireplace warms the cool nights when the Atlas winds blow. Behind it is the bathroom with the dressing room, in the centre of which is the bathtub next to a large glass window that opens onto a small courtyard with two orange trees.

The pavilion is surrounded by a larger patio with two hammocks, a small fountain to listen to the soothing sound of water and an outdoor veranda with sofas and tables to shelter you from the heat.

In the Pool and Maisons Pavilions you can also enjoy a private pool, separate living rooms, additional bedrooms and butler service.

After a quiet and restful night’s sleep, breakfast is a spectacle for the senses to enjoy by the pool or overlooking the golf course next to Amanjena.

The gastronomic proposals are varied. On the one hand we can enjoy local food at The Moroccan Restaurant, with Berber, Moroccan, Andalusian and Middle Eastern culinary traditions, with a range of somewhat exotic flavours.

Nama is the modern offering, celebrating Japan’s washoku cuisine with original sushi and sashimi dishes. In addition, you can watch live sushi and robata grill being prepared in the open kitchen.

Aman is renowned for its Wellness treatments, and Amanjena could not miss its Spa proposal. Their treatments are designed to soothe, rejuvenate and restore. Throughout the year, Amanjena welcomes a range of wellness experts and healing specialists to offer exclusive treatments and therapies.

Immerse yourself in this haven of peace and come back refreshed.
